Our story
Cybovate was founded in 2021 by Andi Heckel and Andreas Wuchner with the goal of creating a small to medium-sized cybersecurity company distinguished by its human-first approach. As two highly experienced executives in cybersecurity and GRC, they recognized that most cybersecurity incidents stem from an inadequate security culture rather than the individuals involved. Moreover, they wanted to establish a company that ensures each person enriches their network and industry while fully utilizing their personal skills.
Today, Cybovate is a fast-paced and agile organization that collaborates with two distinct customer groups. On one hand, it partners with medium to large multinational organizations operating in Europe or the DACH region that need innovative cybersecurity solutions to positively impact both the organization and its employees. On the other hand, Cybovate works with established and experienced cyber-tech start-ups that require either strategic leadership consulting or assistance in expanding their business by acquiring new customers in Europe.
Cybovate is led by Andi Heckel and Lars Rudolff. Their goal is to unlock the full potential of the organizations they work with.

The team
Andi Heckel
Andi has more than 25 years of experience in management positions at leading international GRC and cybersecurity companies such as HP, RSA Archer and Secaron. He has worked primarily in Germany and Switzerland, as well as throughout Europe, leading teams in sales and business development.
Andi is detail-oriented and organized, analytical, and quickly understands the challenges our clients face in terms of their cybersecurity. Andi is known for his creative and problem-solving skills. He is in daily contact with customers and the organizations we represent, providing them with every possible support and added value.
Lars Rudolff
Lars has a solid background in the security industry, boasting over two decades of experience in various roles and organizations. Throughout his career, he has consistently combined the organizational aspects of information security with technical solutions, proving his expertise in both consultancy and implementation.
During the years he built new service offerings, Lars developed a keen entrepreneurial sense and the ability to help his clients see the big picture and focus on it. He understands the importance of looking beyond individual issues to identify larger patterns. By working closely with his clients to determine their needs and develop tailored solutions, Lars has demonstrated his capacity to build trust and strong relationships.
He thrives on challenges and enjoys the creative process of problem-solving, often thinking outside the box to uncover innovative approaches to complex problems.
